ONLINE CLASS: "Frosty Birches" Snowy Landscape



This has been one of my most popular live workshops, and now it's available online, on demand!


I'll guide you step-by-step through a process I developed to achieve these colorful trees against a dark winter sky with stars and a moon, with long shadows that stretch across the snowy landscape.

FROSTY BIRCHES SUPPLY LIST

Alcohol Inks:

- Snow Cap Mixative (a must-have)

- Dark blue (Ranger Denim or Monsoon work well - or I am using Dark Night by Altenew)

- Other Colors: I use Patina and Slate or Mushroom from Ranger; Gray and Black from Altenew, but you can get as colorful as you like.

91% Isopropyl Alcohol in a bottle (for cleaning brushes)

91% Isopropyl Alcohol in a spray bottle (for creating stars) Ranger

Blending Solution (optional, but recommended)

Washi Tape (or you can use clear scotch tape, but it's harder to see and to peel off)

Q-Tips

Small detail paintbrush

1" flat paint brush

Palette

Paper towels

Gloves

Something to protect your work surface - I recommend puppy training pads
