Abstract Landscapes with Alcohol Ink [Virtual]

In this workshop, you will create three different abstract landscapes using alcohol ink and some unique tools. You'll learn different techniques to guide and mix the inks. Great for beginners, but those experienced with alcohol inks will be sure to pick up new tips and techniques. See Supply List below.

If you cannot watch it live, don't worry. I'll be sending out a link to the class recording the next day so that you can watch it whenever, and as many times as you like. 

Supply List

• Alcohol inks in colors similar to what I'll be using: Sailboat Blue, Denim, Sunshine Yellow, Orange, Wild Plum, Purple, Citrus, Stream.
• Small detail brush
• Palette
• Small container of 91% IPA (for cleaning brushes)
• Small spray/spritzer bottle of 91% IPA (optional, to make stars in night sky)
• Plastic gift card or old credit card
• 2 - 3 Q-Tips
• Washi tape, or clear scotch tape
• Drinking straw (I find the fatter "milkshake" straws work best, but any full-length straw will work)
• Three 5x7 pieces of a synthetic substrate (Yupo, Grafix, NARA, etc.)
• Gloves to protect hands
• Napkins or paper towel
• Protected work surface (I like to use puppy training pads on my surface)
